It is not unusual to have swelling at the end of the day due to being up and moving around throughout the day. Usually that swelling will go down over night and reach near normal size compared to the other limb. When resting throughout the day, it is important to keep your leg elevated and try not sit for longer than two hours at a time before getting up and exercising.  If you have excessive swelling that does not go down overnight or with elevation, it is important to contact your physician.
